The christenings of nine children of James and Sarah Rushen were held at Inworth church, opposite the pub. Can you add any further detail?
E. Rushen was the landlord at the "Lord Raglan" public house in Cricklade St., Old Swindon, between 1848 and 1851.
T. Rushen was the landlord at the "Bush House" public house in Chishill between 1879 and 1881 followed by J. Rushen between 1882 and 1883. Can you add any further detail?
On the 30th January 1654 James Rushen married Ursula Wathmoll at Christchurch on the island
of Barbados. In 1657 Ursula gave birth to a son James. Where did James senior come from, where did he go too? What was he doing in Barbados? Did he start the Rushen family in America?
Percy C Rushen was instrumental in publishing several books related to geneology. He lived at 10, Warwick Court, High Holborn, London WC and
his business address was, The Deben Press, Deben House, Fentiman Road, London SW.
